The extra heavy-duty shredder mounts are located between the main shredder assembly and the concrete support foundation. The isolation mounts, of which there are typically four per shredder, are designed to reduce vibration and shock from impact loading – the major causes of wear and fatigue. Standard features include high impact side guards and heavy-duty mechanical down stops. The shredder mounts require no hydraulic dampening fluid and are virtually maintenance-free due to an elastomeric isolation element.
