Disappointment at reluctant market

Compared to our previous report, 304 and 316 prices have made some forward progress - the former from US$ 1750-1800 to 1920-1970 per tonne and the latter from US$ 2560-2610 to US$ 2800-2850. However, chrome scrap prices have moved in the opposite direction, with 430 material now commanding US$ 530-560 per tonne and the 409 quality between US$ 450 and US$ 480.
