* Robin Wiener

ISRI President Robin K. Wiener has been tapped to chair the Council of Manufacturing Associations for the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). The Council of Manufacturing Associations is an allied group of NAM currently comprising over 200 manufacturing trade associations. Its mission is to provide manufacturing associations with the knowledge, resources and networks to help their members create a stronger and more prosperous manufacturing sector in the USA.

* Don Smale

Don Smale, until recently Secretary-General of the International Lead and Zinc Study Group (ILZSG), has been named Common Secretary-General of three metal study groups: the International Copper Study Group (ICSG), the International Nickel Study Groups (INSG) and of the ILZSG itself. He has already taken up his new responsibilities at the Study Groups’ common headquarters in Lisbon, Portugal.

* Walter T. Benecki

Walter T. Benecki has been appointed as a Member of the Board of Bunting Magnetics Co., which has its headquarters in Newton, Kansas, USA. Bunting Magnetics is a major manufacturer of magnetic assemblies and equipment such as magnetic separation systems, material handling equipment and metal detection equipment. Mr Benecki was formerly President of the Magnetic Products Group of SPS Technologies Inc. (now Arnold Magnetic Technologies) and is currently President of Walter T.
Benecki LLC, a consultancy serving the worldwide magnetics industry.
