The MiniSort is said to be very simple to operate and provides test results within three seconds. Fitted with an internal battery pack, the device delivers 200 and 300 tests before it needs recharging. As the metals analyser uses the arc/spark technique, there is no X-ray source or tube to worry about. The MiniSort offers a wide performance range and can be used to identify and sort alloys of, for example, steel, aluminium (profile and cast), nickel, copper, brass, titanium and zinc.
