Metso Lindemann shredder for Lord & Midgley

United Kingdom: UK scrap company Lord & Midgley is installing a 2500 HP Metso Lindemann shredder at a newly-acquired site in Hull.

Likely to be operational by the end of this year, it will have the capacity to process 70 tonnes of scrap per hour. Project cost is put at £11.5 million (US$ 18 million).

Lord & Midgley processes more than 70 000 tonnes of scrap per annum at two sites.
