Granulator achieves fine results

Machinery manufacturer Seltek has introduced the 3000Turbo - a cable recycling system which is claimed to produce excellent results with fine insulated wire scrap. According to the Italian producer of the ‘Stokkermill’ brand of recycling equipment, the compact granulator is capable of shredding and separating large quantities of cable with a high operating efficiency.
The 3000Turbo features a vibrating table for dry separation, with the grinding mill consisting of three rotating blades and two fixed blades, each 430 mm long. The granulator boasts a capacity of 250-350 kg per hour and includes an integrated turbo unit to ensure a high quality and purity of even very thin cables, the company states. On request, the SM3000 can be delivered with an integrated pre-grinder and conveyor belt system with magnetic separation.
Seltek offers recycling equipment for copper and aluminium cable, electrical wire and e-waste. Based in Udine, it supplies custom-built compact plants, shredders and pre-shredder units and separation plants.
