'Cracking' construction & demolition waste with Mantovanibenne

Italian crane attachments specialist Mantovanibenne has expanded its portfolio with the CC60R demolition cracker.

The new 6.5 ton class shear is best described as a hybrid between a concrete crusher and a metal scrap shear, so says Mantovanibenne, which celebrates its 55th anniversary this year.

The double-central-pin body ensure high resistance to stress and enables to transfer the full force of cylinders to the tips, even at the maximum jaws opening.

Because of the special asymmetric design, the jaws effectively crush concrete and cut steel. Meanwhile, the interchangeable parts allow the user to maintain efficiency with some quick and simple maintenance interventions.

Mantovanibenne adds that its latest innovation will be showcased at the upcoming Intermat trade show in Paris this April.

The manufacturer is confident that the CC60R unit will influence current-day demolition techniques, especially in the demolition of large infrastructures, where the external concrete structure incorporates a resilient metallic frame.
